Eureka, CA (August 14, 2019) – The penultimate race of the 2019 championship season for the Humboldt Outlaw Karts is set for this Saturday August 17. With only two points-paying races left on the schedule for this season, every position in every race is going to play a factor as to who wins and who loses track championships in each division. Dustin Walters Trucking and Fortuna Wheel & Brake will be presenting Saturday’s races which promises to feature can’t-miss racing action.

Adam Myer leads Raylan Ross by seven points in the PeeWee Predator class. Leonard Ward IV is third in the standings thanks to two feature wins.

Aaliyah Mitchell’s advantage in the Champagne Attorney Service beginner box stocks is a comfortable 44 points. Destiny Lewis has been impressive in her first season behind the wheel of an outlaw kart and she holds down that second position. Danica Kinsey has also shown marked improvement in 2019 as she is third in the standings. Mitchell and Kinsey each have two main event wins this season.

Nick Ford has practically dominated the season for the Fortuna Wheel & Brake fart karts. Even though he has won every feature event so far this year, second place Amanda Harpe is only 16 points behind. Scott Proctor is third in the points.

Much like Nick Ford, Leonard Ward has been the driver to beat in the Miclette Family Motorsports pure stocks. Ward has won all but two races in the division this season and leads the standings. Pete Miclette in second is the only driver who has been able to best Ward this season and his disadvantage is only 12 points. Jordan Miclette is third and he is 30 points in arrears to Ward. Michael Lawrence is another eight points behind Jordan Miclette in fourth while David Alves rounds out the top five in the division standings.

Tony Miles looks to be in line for the championship for the Nor Cal Automotive 500 karts. Going into Saturday’s race, Miles is 35 points ahead of Dax Williamson. Cliff Myer is third.

Nobody’s star has shined as bright as Dryver Dothage’s in the Wes Green Landscaping 250 division. Dothage has three feature wins and is the standings leader for the division. MKinzy Uselton is second and 21 points behind but it’s certain that she won’t give up until the end. Landen Green is the only other feature winner in the class this season and he is third in points. Maleesa Miles and Derek Kessler finish out the top five.

The closest and most intense points battle for the Humboldt Outlaw Karts this season is in the Williamson Financial Group box stocks. The top of the standings features a tie between Grant Proctor and Dylan Combest. Not only are they tied in points but they both have two feature wins and three heat race wins. As good as the front two have ran all season long, it will be tough for Corbin Green in third to close his gap on the leaders. He is 17 points behind the front pair. Austin Bartholomew faces longer odds as he’s fourth, 28 points out of the lead. Jack Myer in fifth is likely out of the championship hunt as he’s 36 points behind but it is still possible for him to advance a position or two higher at season’s end.

Races begin at 3:00PM this Saturday at the 1/8-dirt Redwood Acres Bullring. The Humboldt Outlaw Karts are presented all season long by Steve’s Septic Service and Wes Green Landscaping. For more information you can visit www.HumboldtOutlawKarts.com or on Facebook.
