It's Going To Be A Full Saturday Night Of Action At Speedway Willow Springs

Speedway Willow Springs will be opening their gates to the fans for a very full night of racing this Saturday. The quarter mile paved oval is located within the massive Willow Springs International Speedway complex in the beautiful community of Rosamond, California.

The management and staff at Speedway Willow Springs has an outstanding reputation of going all out to provide their fans will full evenings of racing plus special events that provides family style entertainment for all age groups. They're going to prove that point again this Saturday night with on track action from ten different racing divisions.

The action packed racing schedule for Saturday night includes appearances from the Hooper Rear End Service Elite division, the Platinum Jewelry and Loan Street Stocks, Wayne and Dave's Automotive Hobby Stocks, Lucas Oil Products Mini Stocks, The Tire Store Skid Plates and the So-Cal Enduro Series.

On any given Saturday night, the Speedway Willow Spring's regular division are more than enough to produce exciting, door to door, racing action. It's a fact that has been proven many times in the past. However, this Saturday night the speedway has invited some special guest divisions highlighted by another appearance from the Robertson's Solar Southwest Tour Trucks. This regional touring series, for full sized racing trucks, has an outstanding reputation for exciting racing at every venue they visit. A case in point was their previous visit to Speedway Willow Springs this past March and the fans loved it.

Speedway fans will also be treated to a special guest visit from the Mini Dwarfs' Junior and Senior divisions and the Bandolero cars. The two series are racing development programs for youngsters with some of the drivers as young as six years old. They are often referred to, by race track promoters, as being the racing stars of tomorrow and the fans may very well be watching a future racing champion this Saturday night.

Speedway Willow Springs always makes it a point to entertain their young fans and this Saturday night they will be treating them to their popular kid's candy toss plus The Tire Store tire toss and the kid's big wheel race.

The Saturday night racing is being presented by The Tire Store, a true friend to local racing, with three locations in Lancaster, Rosamond and Tehachapi to serve you. The Tire Store motto is: "prices are born here and raised elsewhere."

The very full schedule begins with a practice session beginning at 12pm followed by qualifying at 420pm. The meet and greet session will line up on the track at 510pm allowing fans to get an up close look at the race cars while meeting the drivers. At 6pm the track gets hot with the Tire Store Skid main event and heat races from the other divisions followed by main events at 7pm.

General admission tickets are $10 for adults which gives them a wrist band that allows fans to watch the racing at all of the Willow Springs International Raceway's race tracks on Saturday and Sunday. Kids age eight and under are admitted free when accompanied by a paid adult. In many cases the weekend wrist bands allows access to the pit areas along with free parking, camping and bleacher seating.

Saturday action will feature Street Masters motorcycle racing on the Horse Thief Mile, a one mile road course with 11 turns featuring major elevation changes, tight turns and canyon like surroundings. On Saturday and Sunday fans can take in Eddie Mulder Flat Track Racing at the Walt James Stadium Oval, a three-eighths mile, high banked, dirt oval. There's also going to be two days of sports car action, from West Coast Racing, on Big Willow, the massive 2.5 mile, nine turn, road course. All of this racing, for $10, is just one of many reasons that makes Willow Springs so fan friendly.
