The historic Famoso Raceway will be staging a very busy weekend featuring multiple NHRA drag racing groups along with a Fan Appreciation Night that's going send a lucky raffle winner to Las Vegas.

The weekend begins with the Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series who will be staging their annual Nostalgia Fall Championship. They will be staging two races, while creating a double points situation during the weekend. Adding to the straight line racing excitement will be the drag racing organizations known as the Ford Fun Weekend and the Mega MOPAR.

The gates will open at 8am on all three days. Friday's schedule calls for an open test and tune session from 12 to 5 pm. On Saturday and Sunday the race agenda calls for time trials and elimination rounds beginning at 9am.
Saturday night is Fan Appreciation Night at Famoso and will be highlighted by the presence of the Good Vibrations Motorsports Saturday Night Nitro Series who will hit the strip at 7 and 930 pm.

The prize list for Fan Appreciation Night is massive with the grand prize being two event tickets to the NHRA's Toyota Nationals to be held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway's drag strip. General admission tickets for these events are $20 per day with children under the age of 12 admitted free when accompanied by a paid adult. Additionally, AAA members can receive a $3 discount by presenting their member cards at the ticket gate.

The All American Speedway will be rolling out a track load of exciting racing action this Saturday night featuring the Legends of the Pacific, Street Stocks, Bombers, the F 4's and the Pro 4 Modifieds. The spectator gates will open at 4pm with the show going green at 6pm.

Adult tickets, age 16 to 59, are $10. Tickets for seniors, age 60 plus, and children, age 6 to 15, are $7. Children under 6 years old will be admitted free. The speedway also offers a budget friendly family pass, valued at $35, that admits 2 adults and 3 kids.

When it comes to race tickets, this race track is very fan friendly. General admission tickets for adults are only $8 with tickets for students, seniors and military personnel priced at $7. Something very unique and special will be at Evergreen this weekend. It's the Red Bull Global Rally Cross Series' return to the pacific northwest for the first time in two years. Thier GRC Lite and Super Car divisions will be racing on a .791 mile, 8 turn, special road course created from the speedway's unique paved oval configurations.

On Friday the gates will open at 12pm featuring a full day of practice, qualifying and heat races. Saturday's spectator gates will open at 11pm with an agenda featuring warm up rounds, semi finals, last chance qualifiers and the main events.

The main events can also be seen Sunday on NBC Sports beginning at 130pm eastern time. The main events will also be streamed on Red Bull TV at 2pm eastern.

This outstanding program was designed to teach youngsters, age 5 to 16, the ins and outs of quarter midget racing. On any given weekend of the 2016 racing season, the association would be racing at their 1/20th mile paved oval located at the Madera Speedway. However, this weekend they will be participating in Leg five of the California Monza Series hosted by the Capitol Quarter Midget Association. This is a special points championship series involving quarter midget clubs from all over California. Leg number five of the series will be held at the Capitol Speedway located in Rio Linda, California.

The weekend will feature quarter midget action from 12 different racing classes spread out through the various age groups. It all begins on Friday with a special practice session for all divisions beginning at 6pm. Saturday is qualifying day for all divisions and begins following the mandatory pit meeting at 830am. The IEC will convert the back portion of their 1/2 mile paved oval into their 1/8 mile drag strip in order to present their NHRA Thursday Night Thunder program while sending the all powerful and important message: race the strip and not the street. This program is open to all types of vehicles both professional race cars and street legal vehicles.

The program is also very budget friendly. Entry fees are only $20, which allows drivers to race for a total of five hours, or you can watch them race all night for only $10. The spectator gates will open at 4pm followed by racing from 5 to 10pm.

This is one of the true hot tickets of the weekend because it involves the always exciting Lucas Oil Modified Racing Series, presented by 1 800 Loan Mart. Saturday night will feature 30 of the best modified teams from the western states area running the General Tire 75, presented by Fast EZ - EFI.

The high quality main event of the evening will be strongly supported by the raceway park's NASCAR Super Stock and INEX Legend division along with a special appearance from the WRA Vintage Racers. The racing will see the green flag at 7pm and is being presented by Bakersfield's JACK FM Radio. There are a variety of ticket options, from general to reserved seating, available from the track's website.

It's double header night at Kern County Raceway Park. On Friday their 1/3 mile dirt oval will be presenting dirt slinging action from their Hobby Stock, American Stock, Mini Stock, 305 Sprint and Hard Top divisions beginning at 730pm. It's going to be busy at Battle Mountain with three, consecutive, days of dirt slinging stock car racing. It all begins on Friday night with their regular racing show followed by their annual Silver Cup show on Saturday night. The racing action will be provided by their Pure Stock, Pro Stock, IMCA Modified, Dwarfs, Karts and Mini Mods. The front gates will open at 5pm followed by racing at 730pm on both nights. Then, on Sunday afternoon, those same racing return to action to run a make up race date that had to be cancelled due to weather. The front gates will open on Sunday at 12pm with the racing going green at 2pm.

Adult tickets, age 19 plus, for anyone one of the weekend's shows are $10. Tickets for seniors and students, age 6 to 18, are valued priced at $5. Kids under age 5 will be admitted free when accompanied by a paid adult. By the way, bring the kids there's going to be candy and give aways for them.

The Lakeport - Ukiah Speedway Challenge Series, presented by Furia Motorsports, returns to Lakeport this Saturday featuring racing excitement from the Bandolero, Bomber, Jammer, Legend and Modified divisions. The front gates will open at 330pm followed by qualifying at 5pm leading to the main events.

General admission tickets are $12 and $9 for seniors, age 60 plus, and students with valid ID. First responders with valid ID and kids, age 5 to 11, will be admitted for only $6 while toddlers and infants will be admitted free. Here's another very hot ticket from an organization who understands how to treat their fans. Loan Mart Madera will be presenting their 45th Annual Harvest Classic Night this Friday and Saturday night with each evening featuring a super loaded race schedule.

Friday night's race agenda will feature the Madera Late Models, Madera Hobby Stocks, 4 Bangers, the MST, Toyota Sedans, USAC HPD Midgets and truck pulls. The action will receive the greet flag at 630pm.
Now get ready for this: Friday is $5 ticket night at Loan Mart Madera.

Saturday night will be highlighted by the Multi Engine Tractor Pull presented by Midland Tractors. There's also going to be plenty of oval racing action from the MAV TV Madera Winged Super Sprint Series who will be crowning a season champion on this night. Saturday night at Meridian will be intensifed by the drama of championship night for the NSRA Winged Sprint Cars and the NWAAS Modifieds. Here's something special for the kids Saturday night. It's the Continental Tire Bike Races. Bring your kids, their bikes and their helmets to the turn 2 gate before 555pm to enter. The bike races will feature three age groups: 12 and up, 7 to 11 and age 6 and under.

It's going to be a very exciting weekend in northern California's wine country when Sonoma Raceway plays host to the season finale of the Verizon Indy Cars' championship. The Go Pro Grand Prix of Sonoma will have a extra touch of intensity this Sunday because this race is going to award double points.

Adult reserved tickets are priced between $55 to $75. On the more budget friendly range there are general admission tickets available for $39 with kids age 12 and under admitted free. There are also several special tickets options that covers everything from preferred parking to special acess and driver meet and greet packages. If you're looking for a fun track the entire family can enjoy then Speedway Willow Springs is a great choice. Located within the mammoth, 600 plus acres, Willow Springs International Raceway, this quarter mile paved oval returns to action this Saturday night.

It's Platinum Jewelry and Loan Night at Willow Springs. Highlighting the on track action will be the Hooper's Rear End Service Elite Division. This is a special racing class created by speedway management that allows Late Models, Super Late Models, Modifieds and Southwest Tour Trucks to race together. The Yakima Speedway will begin the weekend with a free Friday night Fan Appreciation party from 4 to 8pm featuring fun, food, prizes and a race car display. It's a special way to say thank you as well as fun for the entire family.

Then, on Saturday race night, Yakima will be presenting the 2nd annual Gary Peterson Memorial in honor of a true friend of this speedway. Providing the intense on track excitement will be the West Coast Late Model Series, the Super Stocks, Mini Socks, Hornets and Bump To Pass. The spectator gates will open at 4pm followed by qualifying with opening ceremonies beginning at 5pm.

Adding to Saturday night's fun will be a costume contest. Fans are encouraged to wear costumes reglecting the 1970's and 1980's and will receive a $3 discount at the ticket gate. The best costume of the evening will receive tickets for the speedway's September 30th Fall Classic weekend.
